OMAHA, Neb. Adidas Yeezy For Sale . -- Virginia pitcher Josh Sborz slips a pinch of chewing tobacco between his cheek and gum every now and then, even though the NCAA banned the substance 20 years ago, "I enjoy the taste. Its not like Im addicted to it," Sborz said. "I just enjoy it, definitely. I do it maybe once a month or every other week." Sborz said this weeks death of Hall of Fame baseball player Tony Gwynn might give college players some pause. Gwynn died at 54 of oral cancer believed to be connected to his long use of chewing tobacco. "It should have an impact when such a star-studded players life was ended by the addiction he had. Its sad," Sborz said. Whether Gwynns death has any real impact is an open question and it comes amid some concerns: Baseball players acknowledging using spit tobacco at least once in the previous month rose from 42.5 per cent in 2005 to 52.3 per cent in 2009, according to the NCAAs quadrennial survey substance use trends among its athletes. Results of the 2013 survey have not yet been released, though preliminary results suggest a drop since 2009. About 15 per cent of teams in each NCAA sport are asked to participate in the anonymous survey, with a total sample size of about 20,000 athletes. Among all male athletes, 16 per cent acknowledged using tobacco in 2005 and 17 per cent in 2009. Sborz said he thinks the survey is "skewed" when it comes to ball players. "All those people dont do it every day," he said. "If people do it every day, thats where it becomes a problem. If they do it once every week, I dont see any issue with it." Minor-league baseball banned tobacco in 1993, a year before the NCAA. Tobacco is not banned in the major leagues. Though tins of tobacco arent visible in college dugouts like they were before 1994, that doesnt mean players arent dipping when theyre away from the ballpark. "Its 100 per cent part of baseball culture," said Virginia second baseman Branden Cogswell, who estimated half his teammates chew tobacco at least occasionally. "Its kind of a habit for people, kind of a comfort thing. Ive never been a part of that group, but so many guys do it. People take those risks. Its their choice." Dave Keilitz, executive director of the American Baseball Coaches Association, said he was surprised to find out so many baseball players were using tobacco. "I think most of our coaches, if not all of our coaches, are very aware of the danger and also dont want their players using it," Keilitz said. "In my 20 years of doing this, I havent seen any evidence of that taking place in dugouts, in games. I hope the same holds true in practice sessions." Keilitz said his organization adamantly opposes the use of smokeless tobacco and participated in the making of a video that illustrates the dangers. Virginia coach Brian OConnor said he chewed during his playing days in the late 1980s and early 90s. Like Keilitz, he was surprised so many players acknowledge using tobacco. "If kids are doing it, theyre doing a heck of a job of hiding it," he said. The NCAA said the ban was put in place as part of its charge to protect the safety and welfare of athletes. The penalty for violating the ban was left to the committee that oversees each sport. The Baseball Rules Committee instructed umpires to eject any player or coach who is using tobacco or who has tobacco in his possession. Enforcement was spotty until the committee made it a point of emphasis in 2003. In spite of the warnings the players receive, Texas coach Augie Garrido said he knows some members of his team chew tobacco. "Theres a lot more of it in Texas," he said, "because its not only about the baseball. Its about hunting, its about fishing, its about being a man." As for Sborz, he started chewing for a simple reason. "I saw an older kid do it, so I thought Id try to do it," he said. Yeezy Boost 350 V2 For Sale . Spains victory rendered Frances 3-0 win against Finland meaningless as Spain needed just one point to secure passage to Brazil. Franck Ribery and Karim Benzema scored either side of Joona Toivios own-goal as France advanced to the playoff among the eight best second-place finishers. Cheap Yeezy Boost 350 . With the win, the Marlies complete a three-game series sweep of the Admirals and move on to the second round of the Calder Cup playoffs. T.J. Brennan added an empty netter with less than 25 seconds remaining for his second of the playoffs. http://www.yeezyforcheap.com/ . Orlando is to begin play in the MLS for the 2015 season. Kaka, who currently plays with AC Milan, is expected to be loaned out to his home club Sao Paulo for the upcoming season before joining Orlando for next season.ARLINGTON, Texas - Tony Romo still talks about wishing he had been on the field instead of at home following back surgery when the Cowboys lost a playoffs-or-bust finale to Philadelphia last season.Eleven months and yet another back injury later, the Dallas quarterback will be out there Thursday against Mark Sanchez when these NFC East rivals play on Thanksgiving for the first time in 25 years with the division lead on the line.No post-season fates will be sealed this time.Instead, a pair of 8-3 teams in good playoff position at the moment will play the first of two games against each other just 18 days apart.I dont think youre going to decide the division right here, Romo said. But we also understand the importance of it.Romo will see how his back responds to the first quick turnaround since surgery for a herniated disk last December, followed by two small fractures in his back sustained last month on a sack against Washington. The Cowboys will kick off about 90 hours after Romo rallied them past the New York Giants 31-28 with a late touchdown pass to Dez Bryant. The 34-year-old Romo has 22 touchdowns and three interceptions since throwing three interceptions in the first half of the opener against San Francisco. Hes had a quarterback rating of at least 135 in three of the past four games. He doesnt look like he has any back issues, Eagles coach Chip Kelly said. For Sanchez, the question is more about rust than rest. After missing all of last season with a shoulder injury, he will make his fourth start since Nick Foles went down with a broken collarbone. Sanchez has 985 yards passing and five touchdowns with four interceptions in three starts. In his four games, hes already matched Romos interception total of six.The one thing with Mark that I think everybody forgets is he missed an entire year last year, and hes only played 3 1/2 games for us so far this year, Kelly said. Theres still a growing process for him within our system. Here are some things to consider in Sanchezs second career start against Dallas. He beat the Cowboys when he was with the New York Jets three years ago:TIME FOR ROMO: The signature play of Dallas win at New York was Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr.s spectacular one-handed catch for a touchdown that will go down as one of the leagues best. The signature momentss for the Cowboys were Romo having more than 6 seconds to throw without scrambling twice on the winning drive, including the 13-yard score to Bryant with 1:01 remaining. Its a huge challenge because you have to know not only what the original route was that your receivers are running, but what theyre going to do after Tony bides time for himself, Kelly said. He has a unique sense in terms of if theres an unblocked guy, he just has a way of making him miss, but hes not looking to run. Hes looking to throw the ball down the field, which is dangerous.RB SHOWDOWN: NFL rushing leader DeMarco Murray will try for his 11th 100-yard game of the season for the Cowboys. He has a good chance to replace Philadelphias LeSean McCoy as the league rushing champ. Murray has 1,354 yards, while McCoy is fourth at 859 after a slow start. I think the way he finishes runs and how strong he is, thats what makes him an elite back, McCoy said. I think we have different styles, so I wouldnt want to take anything from his game.KELLY ON THANKSGIVING: Asked about playing the holiday game, Kelly drew laughs by saying, Played in high school on Thanksgiving, so its been awhile. Pushed a little more, Kelly wasnt interested. We dont really read much into it or wax nostalgic, he said. Its not like were going to have a cornucopia and a turkey on the sideline. Were just going to go play football.BREAKING THE RUT: With a win, the Cowboys will break their three-year rut of 8-8 finishes, and take a big step closer to ending a four-year playoff drought. Their previous winning record came in 2009, when they beat Philadelphia in the playoffs for their only post-season win since 1997. I just feel like our record is 0-0 and were trying to go get a win, Romo said.DO IT AGAIN: The division race has the feel of a championship series with these teams playing twice in three weeks. Dallas plays another Thursday game next week at Chicago, then gets a longer break before going to Philadelphia. The Eagles have a mini-bye before hosting Seattle and Dallas in consecutive weeks. Yeah, it is a little weird, McCoy said. But well play them anywhere. Im sure they feel the same way.___Online:AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL___Follow Schuyler Dixon on Twitter at https://twitter.com/apschuyler ' ' '
