the third game. But Antworten

ROME -- Ferrari president Luca Di Montezemolo will leave the company next month amid a disappointing season by the flagship Formula One team and before an imminent stock listing of merged parent company Fiat-Chrysler. Cheapest Adidas Basketball Shoes . Montezemolo will depart on Oct. 13 following Ferraris 60th anniversary celebration of sales in the United States, a statement from Fiat-Chrysler said on Wednesday. Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne will also take on the Ferrari job in the immediate term. While Ferrari is healthy economically, the F1 team has struggled in recent years and was a long way off the leaders at last weekends home Italian Grand Prix, where there was a public spat over the teams performance. At the time, Montezemolo insisted he would stay on in the job, but Marchionne said he was terribly upset by the F1 teams performance, which he deemed unacceptable. The most successful team in F1 history, Ferrari has not won a constructors title since 2008 and this season has gone from bad to worse, with drivers Fernando Alonso and Raikkonen failing to win a single race. It hasnt won the drivers title since Raikkonen was the champion in 2007. Our mutual desire to see Ferrari achieve its true potential on the track has led to misunderstandings which became clearly visible over the last weekend, Marchionne said in a statement Wednesday. Montezemolos departure is slated for three days before the new merged Fiat-Chrysler company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Fiat controls 90 per cent of Ferrari. Ferrari will have an important role to play within the FCA group in the upcoming (listing) on Wall Street, Montezemolo said. This will open up a new and different phase which I feel should be spearheaded by the CEO of the group. This is the end of an era. Montezemolo joined Ferrari four decades ago after founding father Enzo Ferrari brought him in as his assistant. After a brief period away from the company, he returned as president in 1991 and over the past 23 years the F1 team has won 14 titles -- eight constructors championships and six drivers titles (five won by Michael Schumacher and one by Kimi Raikkonen). The teams struggles had already claimed a major scalp this season, with the removal of Stefano Domenicali as team principal in April. Matters came to a head at the weekends race at Monza, when Alonso retired due to a rare mechanical problem and teammate Raikkonen struggled into a distant and uncompetitive ninth. A former chairman of Fiat, Montezemolo is also a member of the companys board of directors. But not for long. At Fiats last shareholders meeting, it emerged that Montezemolo will be left off the board of the merged company. Current chairman John Elkann said the move was made to reflect the international composition of the new automaker. Montezemolo stepped down as Fiat chairman in 2010, handing the reins to Elkann, an heir of the Agnelli family which controls 30 per cent of Fiat. Luca and I were appointed to the Fiat board of directors on the very same day back in 2003, Marchionne said. One year later, he became chairman and I became CEO. We worked side by side, sharing concerns, difficulties and successes. As Chairman of Ferrari, he drove the company to a new level of technological and organizational excellence which also brought with it outstanding financial results, Marchionne added. I want to thank Luca for all he has done for Fiat, for Ferrari and for me personally. Montezemolos mandate as president was slated to last through 2017, and it was unclear what type of economic terms he was leaving on. Montezemolo has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the presidency of struggling Alitalia, which recently joined with Etihad Airways. Montezemolo and Marchionne were slated to hold a joint news conference later Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alonso could be in for change, too. The Spaniard won two F1 titles when he was with Renault and is still considered one of the top drivers in the sport. But his contract is set to expire in 2016 and so far there has been no word of an extension. Ive always said that I want to stay with Ferrari and if there are no big changes Ill stay for at least another two years, Alonso told Sky TV last week. But we need to evaluate and work on maintaining this marriage in a winning manner. A Ferrari car hadnt retired for mechanical problems in 86 races and Sundays results dropped Ferrari to fourth in the constructors standings behind Williams in third. Mercedes holds a massive 182-point lead in the team category ahead of Red Bull. Adidas Basketball Shoes Ireland .Pete Morelli said the back judge threw a flag on Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens on a pass to Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew in Dallas 24-20 wild-card win Sunday. But the head linesman said there wasnt enough contact and that Hitchens was face-guarding, which isnt a penalty in the NFL. Adidas Nmd Cheap Ireland . It was a loss. But it was also a learning experience. Deron Williams and Joe Johnson had 24 points each to lift Brooklyn to a 94-87 win over the Raptors, making their first playoff appearance since 08. "I thought we played a little bit as expected as it is our first playoff game," Toronto coach Dwane Casey said. http://www.cheapnmdsneakersireland.com/ . -- LeGarrette Blount wasnt satisfied with three short touchdown runs, not against a team coming off the second greatest comeback in playoff history.LONDON -- Sabine Lisicki advanced to her first Wimbledon final a couple of hours after Marion Bartoli reached her second. Lisicki, a 2011 semifinalist at the All England Club, beat fourth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska 6-4, 2-6, 9-7 Thursday on Centre Court, overpowering her opponent at the start and then hanging on at the end. "I just fought with all my heart," Lisicki said. "I believed that I could still win no matter what the score was." Bartoli took control early and never let up in a quick 6-1, 6-2 victory over Kirsten Flipkens. Bartoli also reached the Wimbledon final in 2007, losing to Venus Williams in straight sets. Saturdays final will be the second at Wimbledon in the 45-year Open era between two women who have never won a Grand Slam title. Lisicki may have the edge in that match with a 3-1 record against Bartoli, including a quarterfinal win at Wimbledon in 2011 in their last meeting. Lisicki, who beat defending champion Serena Williams in the fourth round, dictated play in the first set by winning 22 of her 30 points on serve and breaking once. But her serve deserted her after that. Once the second set started, Radwanska came alive and Lisicki crumpled. Lisicki lost all four of her service games, with the lowlight coming in the final game of the second set. Leading 30-0, Lisicki lost four straight points, including two double-faults. In the third, Lisicki was again broken early but finally held to make it 3-1 and then broke to get back on serve. Both players held serve until Lisicki got the deciding break in the 15th game when Radwanska hit a volley long. A few minutes earlier, Radwanska had been two points from victory. The two were tied at 30-30 and later at deuce in the 12th game with Radwanska leading 6-5. Lisicki said her big win over Serena Williams helped her Thursday. "I thought, Ive done it against Serena so you can do it today as well, just hang in there," Lisicki said. "It gave me so much confidence and Im just so, so happy I was able to finish it." Bartoli wasted little time in her match, dancing and grunting her way to victory over the 20th-seeded Belgian who was playing in her first major semifinal. "I played great. I executed very well. I hit lobs, passing shots, winners, returns, everything worked out perfectly," said Bartoli, who won in 62 minutes. "When I fell on the grass after match point, it was just so emotional. I drreamed about that moment, about returning to the Wimbledon final. Cheap Adidas Nmd Shoes. quot; Amelie Mauresmo, the 2006 Wimbledon champion who now coaches Frances Fed Cup team, was in the stands for the early match and had plenty of praise for Bartoli. "She just played a great match, definitely the best match of the tournament for her," Mauresmo said. "Marion put huge pressure on her right from the beginning, first of all returning very well, serving better, which she had to do today." Bartoli was pumped from the start on Centre Court, mixing two-handed backhands and forehands with little hops between points, as she usually does. In the first set, she faced only one break point, nearly putting Flipkens back on serve in the third game. But despite a double-fault and a backhand into the net to eventually get behind 30-40, Bartoli dug herself out of the hole and finished the game with the first of her five aces. "I tried my slices. She didnt have any problem with that," Flipkens said. "I tried the dropshot. She got it. I played a passing, she came to the net. I tried a lob. I tried everything, actually." Flipkens, who again took the court with her right knee taped, called for a trainer after being broken for the second straight time at the start of the second set. The trainer added tape to the knee while Bartoli sat in her chair sipping water. Whatever she needed, it briefly worked. Flipkens, after the medical timeout, broke for the first and only time, making it 3-1. But a few minutes later Bartoli broke again and held to make it 5-1. "First of all, Im not going to use it as an excuse, thats for sure. I mean, Marion played an amazing, good match," Flipkens said. "But I fell in the first set. Straightaway I didnt feel anything, but I fell on my bad knee. At that moment I didnt feel it, but a couple of games later I started to feel a really sharp pain like I had four weeks ago." Bartoli is now 2-1 in Grand Slam semifinals with both wins at Wimbledon. Six years ago, she beat another Belgian, top-seeded Justine Henin, in the semifinals. But then she ran into Venus Williams, who that year won the fourth of her five Wimbledon titles. On Saturday, Bartoli will be on relatively equal footing against Lisicki. "Its a good opportunity. She has experience at least," Mauresmo said of Bartoli. "Maybe its going to help her for the final." ' ' '
